Description

Nymphaea Red Tiger Lotus is the perfect centerpiece for a larger aquascape. Nymphaea Red Tiger Lotus are a lily pads. Oddly enough, instead of the round leaves that lily pads usually produce, tiger lotuses have arrowhead-shaped leaves. The red leaves can develop striped variegation under heavy lighting. The red tiger lotus will have a royal purple on the bottom side of the leaf. However, if sufficient iron isn’t present, the red tiger lotus may produce green leaves.

Nymphaea Red Tiger Lotus produce highly aromatic blossoms that are white in color. Depending on the species, some produce blue or red flowers. Many combinations of these colors are available because of selective breeding and hybridization. This plant gets very large however, they are easy to contain to a reasonable size by removing leaves as they grow.

What You Get:

We now carry more that 350 different species plants. Most of our plants are all aquarium plants. When you receive your plants they will have already gone through the transformation process. The transformation the plant goes through is very difficult if all the plants requirements are not met. We, at Liquid Creations, do that for you. Therefore, when you receive your plant it arrives ready for submerged growing. Submerged growth will look a lot different from the emerged growth, of a terrestrial grown plant.

Selecting live plants that share common water conditions will minimize problems thus, make it easier for you to maintain and keep your aquarium in tip-top shape.
